Gulab Jamun

Gulab Jamun

Ingredients:

  • Milk solid ½ kg 
  • Flour 2 tbsp 
  • Cooking Oil 2 tbsp 
  • Baking Powder ½ tsp 
  • Egg 1 
  • Cardamom powder ¼ tsp 
  • Almond 50 gm (chopped) 
  • Silver paper 2 
  • Oil for frying

Ingredients for Sugar Syrup (Sheera):

  • Sugar 2 cup 
  • Water 2 cup 
  • Cardamom 2

Cooking Directions:

  • In a bowl put milk solid, egg, flour, oil, baking powder, and cardamom powder. 
  • Using your hand mix the ingredients well. 
  • Make small balls of this mixture and fry in oil on low flame. 
  • Cook sugar and cardamom in water. 
  • When sugar melt and mixture thickens, turn the flame off. 
  • Soak the prepared Gulab Jamun in the sugar syrup. 
  • Decorate with almonds and silver paper.
