Sponge Cake
Ingredients:
- Melted Butter
- 1/2 cup
- Sugar
- 1/2 cup
- Flour/Maida
- 1 cup
- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Egg
- 2
- Milk
- 4 tbsp
- Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Cooking Directions:
- Sieve flour and baking powder together and keep aside.
- Mix butter, sugar, eggs and milk thoroughly. Beat well for 5 mins.
- Add flour and baking powder. Mix and add essence.
- Blend again and pour the mixture into a large microwave safe bowl.
- Bake for 5 min in a 600W microwave.
- Cool on wire rack, cut into wedges and serve.
