Sponge Cake

Sponge Cake

Ingredients:

  • Melted Butter - 1/2 cup 
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Flour/Maida - 1 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp 
  • Egg - 2
  • Milk - 4 tbsp
  • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp

Cooking Directions:

  • Sieve flour and baking powder together and keep aside.
  • Mix butter, sugar, eggs and milk thoroughly. Beat well for 5 mins.
  • Add flour and baking powder. Mix and add essence.
  • Blend again and pour the mixture into a large microwave safe bowl.
  • Bake for 5 min in a 600W microwave.
  • Cool on wire rack, cut into wedges and serve.
